adidas‘s ever-popular Adidas UltraBOOST line is also leaning into lifestyle with the UltraBOOST DNA — a “heritage” sneaker that’s now been revealed in a wacky “Solar Slime” makeup. Offering a bright, almost “What The”-style assemblage of hues that’s reminiscent of the UB’s past kolor collaborations, the “Solar Slime” is copiously colored and lavishly loud.Full Primeknit uppers start with the eponymous “Solar Slime” hue on the toe cap, move to a soft teal on the toebox, then get vivid with a duo of reds on the midfoot and heel — the former of which offers black stripes, the latter a rich scarlet shade. The top half of the tongue simplifies matters with a monochromatic black build to match the black laces and the smoky, semi-translucent black midfoot cages. On the heel, purple clips with black and gold lettering serve up a nod to the UltraBOOST’s very first colorway. BOOST midsoles are covered entirely in black, with red Torsion bars and black Continental rubber outsoles completing the style.

First revealed by A-COLD-WALL* founder Samuel Ross, the “Clear Jade” adds an intricate color scheme to the shoe’s unique build. New Nike Air Force 1 Flexible knit uppers are dressed in everything from jade to volt to navy blue and plum hues. All are woven together so that none overpower the others, and the forefoot is split with a Tabi toe at the forefoot — itself rimmed with hi-vis reflective detailing. This colorful assemblage is covered by a black ski-boot like strap fit system, with large heel tabs providing easy entry/removal.Insoles join in on the action with a duo of divergent prints, and volt green EVA foam footbeds provide a brief moment of normalcy before the shoe’s signature detail: its cushioning setup. A wide duo of Pebax plates in the heel pull inspiration from Nike Shox, and two Zoom Air units are stacked directly below the arch. Two more Zoom units are present in the forefoot, providing a bouncy feel inspired by Nike Running‘s Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%. Finally, wildly-patterned outsoles feature a tread pattern that’s half Waffle Racer and half monster truck tire.

The Nike Blazer Mid ‘77 with a whole host of statement-making features.First off, the “White/Varsity Royal/Neutral Gray/Fear Purple” pair seems rather subtle and unassuming. However, underneath its white-toned Swooshes is a whole rainbow of color, which when rubbed is revealed. You can decipher which color corresponds to which Swoosh thanks to colored stitching outlining the motifs on either side of the upper and on either side of each shoe, mismatching the whole way through. Furthermore, the left and side feet are mismatched, switching between “White” and “Neutral Gray” colorways on their respective sides. The colored trims give the shoe a deconstructed aesthetic which is enhanced by the “Label Maker” series tab on the heel, this time around reading “BLAZER.” On the padded leather collar, you’ll find a distressed stamp reading “THE NEW WAY,” while retro Nike branding graces the tongue tab in black and orange.
